Abstract:
A process for producing a polyindigo film; and a polyindigo film excelling in heat
resistance, etc. There is provided a process for producing a polyindigo film,
characterized by including the steps of preparing a solution of reduced form
of polyindigo having structural units of the formula (1), or formula (2), or both
of formula (1) and formula (2); and applying the solution onto a base material and
oxidizing the reduced form. (1) (2) wherein Ar is an optionally substituted aryl.
