Abstract:
The present invention provides: a process for polymer member production by which a polymer member having a pattern structure due to the uneven distribution of an incompatible substance can be easily produced; and a polymer member obtained by the process. This process for producing a polymer member in which an incompatible substance has been unevenly distributed comprises (1) the step of preparing a photosensitive composition which comprises a polymerizable monomer, an incompatible substance that is incompatible with a polymer to be obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, (2) the step of forming a coating film of the photosensitive composition, (3) the step of irradiating some of the coating film with light to partly cure the coating film and form a cured-part region, (4) the step of allowing the resultant coating film to stand for a period of 5 seconds to 60 minutes, and (5) the step of irradiating the coating film with light to cure the whole coating film, the incompatible substance being present in a higher concentration in the peripheral surface of the cured-part region or in the vicinity of the peripheral surface on the reverse side thereof from the cured-part region.
