Abstract:
A process which comprises: a first coating step in which a first liquid is applied to the surface of a high-temperature mandrel bar immediately after preceding stretching/rolling to thereby form a water-resistant coating film; a water-cooling step in which the mandrel bar which has undergone the first coating step is cooled with water; a second coating step in which a second liquid is applied to the mandrel bar surface which has undergone the water-cooling step to thereby infiltrate the second liquid into the water-resistant coating film and impart high-temperature adhesion; and a stretching/rolling step, wherein in this stretching/rolling step, the stretching/rolling of a hollow shell with this mandrel bar is initiated within 10 seconds after the second coating step.
