Abstract:
Provided is a transparent conductive film that is formed through coating fluid application, which is an inexpensive simple process for producing a transparent conductive film, especially through low-temperature heating below 300ºC and that combines excellent transparency with high electrical conductivity and has excellent film strength. Also provided is a process for producing the transparent conductive film.
The process is a process for producing a transparent conductive film through the following steps: a coating step in which a coating film containing an organometallic compound is formed on a substrate, a drying step in which a dried coating film is formed from the coating film, a heating/energy-ray irradiation step in which the dried coating film is heated and simultaneously irradiated with energy rays to form an inorganic film, and a heating/reduction step that is conducted according to need. In the heating/energy-ray irradiation step, energy rays are irradiated while the dried coating film is heated at a temperature below 300ºC in an oxygenic atmosphere having a dew point of -10ºC or lower, thereby removing the organic component contained in the dried coating film and thus forming a layer of fine conductive oxide particles, the layer being a layer in which fine conductive oxide particles comprising a metal oxide as the main component have been densely packed.
