Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for producing a washable woven fabric. In the fabric of the present invention, 100% cotton yarns are used in the warp direction, and pure polyester yarns and low elasticity yarns are used in the weft direction. Due to the characteristics of polyester fibers with respect to cotton fibers, such as high strength, low water absorption, and acid washing resistance, the strength and the washing resistance of the fabric can be enhanced. The fabric of the present invention has an improved yarn twist and an improved yarn strength, thereby enhancing the washing resistance of the fabric. The present invention improves the elastic force of the fabric, improves the tensile elongation at break of the fabric, enhances the cushioning properties of the fabric during friction, and improves the wear resistance thereof.
