Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a production process which can synthesize a bicyclo[2.2.2]octylamine derivative represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof with high efficiency and in a large quantity. The present invention relates to a production process which can synthesize a bicyclo[2.2.2]octylamine derivative represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof with high efficiency and in a large quantity, wherein the compound is produced from a bicyclo[2.2.2]octyldicarboxylic acid derivative represented by general formula (2), and wherein a rearrangement reaction and a subsequent isocyanate group decomposition reaction are carried out without the need of isolating an isocyanate derivative represented by formula (5).
