Abstract:
A process for producing 1-hydroxy-4-aminoadamantane shown below. wherein R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen, a halogen, a carboxy, a nitro, an alkyl which may be substituted, an alkoxy which may be substituted, an alkylsulfonyl which may be substituted, an arylsulfonyl which may be substituted, or a sulfamoyl which may be substituted, or, if there is a carbon atom bound adjacently to R1 and R2, then R1 and R2 may together with the carbon atom form a ring which may be substituted.
