Abstract:
The present invention provides a purified cellulose fiber production process which can produce a regenerated cellulose fiber having the same level of strength as that of rayon using an ionic liquid having high thermal stability without producing any by-product having high environmental impact. The purified cellulose fiber production process of the present invention is characterized by spinning a purified cellulose fiber using a cellulose-dissolved solution that is produced by dissolving a cellulose raw material in a solution comprising an ionic liquid having an anion moiety represented by general formula (A1) or (A2) [in the formula, R11, R12 and R13 independently represent an alkyl group; and R14 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group].
