Title:
PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF RESIN COMPOSITIONS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/138849
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A process for the production of resin compositions which comprises mixing a thermally polymerizable and curable precursor with a metal-amine complex such as a metal-alkylamine complex or a metal-polyoxyalkyleneamine complex, subjecting the mixture to heat treatment to conduct the polymerization and curing of the precursor into a resin base and the reduction of the metal ions constituting the metal-amine complex, and thus obtaining a resin composition comprising the resin base and metal fine particles dispersed in the resin base. Alternatively, a metal-amine complex may be spread directly on a heat-resistant resin base instead of the precursor. The invention realizes a process for the production of resin compositions by which various metals can be relatively easily and uniformly dispersed in resins and which permits relatively easy particle size control.
