Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for producing a silane coupling agent, which has high economic efficiency and enables the reduction in time required for the production. More specifically, the process for producing a silane coupling agent is characterized by comprising a step of reacting a silane compound (A) having a methoxysilyl group or an ethoxysilyl group with an alcohol in the absence of any catalyst to produce a silane compound (B) having an alkoxyl group derived from the alcohol. In the process, it is preferred that the alcohol additionally have a nitrogenated functional group and the silane compound (B) have an aminoalkoxyl group.
