Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a process by which lightweight stretched films producing little ash in incineration can be obtained easily and economically and stretched films obtained by the process. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A process for the production of stretched films which comprises (a) the step of melting at least two kinds of thermoplastic resins in a state containing 2 to 200 parts by weight of carbon dioxide per 100 parts of the sum total of the resins, (b) the step of releasing the pressure on the resin melt to 1MPa or below to thereby remove the carbon dioxide, (c) forming the melt into a film, and (d) stretching the film.
