Abstract:

A process for recovering a surfactant from a water/carbon dioxide system containing at least one surfactant by bringing the system into contact with a dehydrating agent to thereby remove the water and recover the surfactant; and a process characterized by circulating a mixed system containing carbon dioxide, a carbon dioxide-compatible surfactant and/ or co-solvent, and a subject of removal in a circulation line provided with a selective -removal device for the subject of removal to remove selectively the subject of removal taken in the surfactant and/or the co-solvent.
