Title:
PROCESS FOR REMOVING AMMONIACAL NITROGEN AND COD SUBSTANCE FROM DISTILLED WATER OBTAINED FROM DRYING SLUDGE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/000343
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for removing ammoniacal nitrogen and a COD substance from distilled water obtained from drying sludge, comprising the following steps: step 1, COD substance removal; step 2, pH regulation; step 3, preheating; step 4, pretreatment; step 5, gas-liquid separation; and step 6, ammonia gas recovery. In step 1, wastewater is fed into a first sand filtration filter tank, then filtered through an activated carbon filter tank, then fed into a second sand filtration filter tank, and following the filtration is fed into a regulation tank. In step 2, with ammoniacal nitrogen being present in the wastewater in the form of NH4 + and NH3, a certain amount of sodium hydroxide is introduced into the tank, and the pH value of the wastewater in the tank is observed using a pH meter, so as to regulate the wastewater such that it becomes an alkaline solution, in which NH4 + + OH- → NH3 + H2O in an alkaline environment. The present invention facilitates the removal of a COD substance, and has a simple structure, is favorable for gas-liquid separation, and improves the blowing efficiency of ammonia gas, and is conducive to the recovery of ammonia gas and the reuse of resources to achieve energy saving and environmental protection effects.
