Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve for initiating the braking of a vehicle axle, in particular a trailer axle, comprising a body (100) with a control inlet (120) connected to a main braking control line, a main supply inlet (130) connected to a pressure source, a secondary inlet (140) connected to a low pressure (R), an outlet (150) connected to the axle brake, a piston (300) defining a set force representing the load on the axle, and a spool (200) translationally movable in a chamber (110) of the body (100) and urged by the pressure applied to the control inlet (120), feedback of the pressure across the outlet (150), and a setting representing the axle load, in such a way that the output pressure is locked to the axle load while being proportional to the pressure at the control inlet (120). The invention also relates to an initiating process, a system comprising the valve and vehicles equipped therewith.
