Abstract:
It is intended to provide, in a treatment process by using a treatment apparatus wherein a fiber product is treated by circulating a treating liquid, a process for washing a fiber product whereby oliogmers or dye residues can be completely (or almost completely) removed and an excellent washing effect can be established. Namely, a process for a washing a fiber product which comprises the hot treatment step wherein the fiber product is set in a treatment tank and then treated by contacting with a treating liquid circulating in the treatment tank under heating at a high temperature with an indirect heat exchanger provided at the middle of the circulation pathway, and the liquid-exchange washing step wherein the hot treating liquid is gradually discharged from the treatment tank and washing water is gradually supplied into the treatment tank, while the flow rate of the hot treating liquid discharged and the flow rate of the washing water supplied are controlled at the same level to thereby keep the liquid amount in the treatment tank constant, wherein the liquid-exchange washing step involves the constant-temperature washing step wherein the hot treating liquid discharged and the washing water supplied are directly subjected to heat exchange and heating is carried out by the indirect heat exchanger so that the liquid temperature in the treatment tank is kept at a constant temperature over a definite period of time.
