Title:
PROCESSES FOR PRODUCTION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE THIAZOLYLALANINE DERIVATIVE AND SALT THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/143409
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are: a process for producing a salt of an optically active thiazolylalanine derivative which has a desired configuration by converting a thiazolylalanine derivative into a salt thereof and crystallizing a compound having one of the configurations preferentially; and a process for producing an optically active thiazolylalanine derivative by desalting the salt. The method enables the production of a high-quality optically active thiazolylalanine derivative in an economically advantageous manner without requiring the use of any unsafe reagent, and is suitable for the production on an industrial scale.
