Abstract:
This processing device acquires, from an image of a target object, an outline of a region of interest of the target object and a reference point on said outline, calculates the distance and direction of an arbitrary position on the outline from the reference point, and on the basis of the distance and direction, generates normalization transformation information for transforming the shape of the region of interest of the target object into a shape used that will constitute a prescribed reference.
