Abstract:
A processing device is provided which performs natural language processing with high search accuracy while reducing time complexity and space complexity. A first external knowledge search unit 11 inputs an input sentence Q and acquires a first search result R1, which is external knowledge found by searching on the basis of a first score obtained on the basis of the similarity between the input sentence and various external knowledge included in an external knowledge database 2. A second external knowledge search unit 12 uses a neural network to calculate a second score which is obtained from the similarity between the input sentence and various external knowledge included in the first search result R1, and searches from the first search result R1 to acquire a second search result. A processing unit 14 acquires output in response to the input sentence through arithmetic processing which has as input the input sentence and the various external knowledge included in the second search result R2.
