Abstract:
Provided is a processing device that applies processing to a sheet (3) on which printing has been performed, the processing device including: an embossing device (5) that applies embossing treatment on the sheet (3); and a final processing device that applies final treatment processing on the surface of the sheet (3). The final processing device includes at least one of: a number printing device (6) that prints a number on the sheet (3); and a varnishing device that applies varnish to the sheet (3). In the processing device, embossing treatment is performed at an appropriate stage in a printing process, which makes it possible to perform embossing treatment without causing problems in feeding sheets when performing a final process of printing.
