Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide processing equipment for a photosensitive planographic printing plate and a method for processing a photosensitive planographic printing plate with which it is possible to efficiently use a developer and improve the surface quality of a processed photosensitive planographic printing plate. Provided is processing equipment 1 for a photosensitive planographic printing plate that processes a photosensitive planographic printing plate 2 carrying image information, wherein the processing equipment 1: comprises a coating unit 3 for applying a developer to an image information carrying surface 2a of the photosensitive planographic printing plate 2 being conveyed, and a liquid supply unit 4 that supplies a developer to the coating unit 3 during processing when the photosensitive planographic printing plate 2 passes through the coating unit 3 and supplies a moisturizing liquid to the coating unit 3 when there is no processing; and keeps the coating unit 3 moistened.
