Abstract:
This processing machine (100) is capable of performing removal processing and additional processing on a workpiece. The processing machine (100) is provided with: a first spindle headstock (111) and a second spindle headstock (116) which are provided inside a processing area (200), and which hold the workpiece; a tool spindle (121) and a lower cutter rest (131) which are provided inside the processing area (200), and which hold tools for performing the removal processing on the workpiece; an additional processing head (61) which discharges a material during the additional processing of the workpiece; a workpiece gripping part (51) for gripping the workpiece during conveyance of the workpiece into and out of the processing area (200); and robot arms (31) which are capable of having, mounted thereto, the additional processing head (61) and the workpiece gripping part (51). As a result of this configuration, a processing machine is provided which achieves improved productivity by way of a simple configuration.
