Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a processing method and a related apparatus. An electronic device comprises an application processor and a micro-control unit, wherein the power consumption of the micro-control unit during operation is lower than the power consumption of the application processor during operation. When playing first audio, the electronic device can determine whether the micro-control unit supports playing of the first audio, and plays data of the first audio by means of the micro-control unit when it is determined that the micro-control unit supports playing of the first audio; when it is determined that the micro-control unit does not support playing of the first audio, the electronic device can decode the first audio by means of the application processor to obtain first data; the application processor can send the first data to the micro-control unit; and the micro-control unit controls a loudspeaker to play the first data. In this way, the electronic device uses the micro-control unit to play audio, thereby reducing the power consumption of the electronic device playing audio. Moreover, the application processor can switch to a sleep state when the micro-control unit controls the loudspeaker to play a sound, thereby further reducing the power consumption.
