Abstract:
Provided is a processing system that has a first processing device (10) that processes short, rod-shaped workpieces. Said first processing device contains the following: a first rotation unit (19) that grips and rotates workpieces; a supply path (13) provided along the axis of a first primary spindle (14) of the first rotation unit so as to pass completely through said first primary spindle; a first chuck (15) that grips workpieces supplied via said supply path; and a first tool holder (30) that holds a tool that processes the workpiece gripped by the first chuck. This processing system also has a supply unit (50) that pneumatically supplies workpieces to the supply path from the end of the first primary spindle on the side opposite the first chuck. The aforementioned first tool holder includes a stopper (31) that stops workpieces pneumatically sent via the supply path at a prescribed position at which the workpiece protrudes from the first chuck.
