Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable monitoring of the occurrence of failure while suppressing increase in circuit size. A processing system (1) is configured such that two or more circuits (20) among a plurality of circuits (20) are set to serve as two or more processing circuits (A1). Each of the two or more processing circuits (A1) carries out signal processing for an input signal (S1) from each sensor (2). The processing system (1) is also configured such that, among the plurality of circuits (20), circuits (20) that do not include the two or more processing circuits (A1) and that are smaller in number than the processing circuits (A1), are set to serve as reference circuits (B1). A determination circuit (40) determines an abnormality of a to-be-determined circuit on the basis of the result of comparing an output signal from a reference circuit (B1) with an output signal from a to-be-determined circuit, which is one of the two or more processing circuits (A1).
