Abstract:
Provided are a processor device for an endoscope, with which it is possible to acquire a blood vessel index value at a specific observation distance for use as a predetermined diagnostic standard; a method for operating the same; and a control program. When a change in the imaging magnification ratio is initiated, a distance acquisition unit (72) acquires a non-enlarged observation distance L1, and upon completion of the change in the imaging magnification ratio acquires an enlarged observation distance L2. A distance ratio calculation unit (74) calculates a first distance ratio D of the non-enlarged observation distance L1 and the enlarged observation distance L2. A blood vessel index value calculation unit (76) calculates a blood vessel index value at the non-enlarged observation distance L1, from an image signal acquired at the non-enlarged observation distance L1. An index value correction unit (78) corrects the blood vessel index value at the non-enlarged observation distance L1 in accordance with the first distance ratio D, and acquires a blood vessel index value at the enlarged observation distance L2.
