Abstract:
A processor 6 is provided with an image processing unit 67 for executing image processing of a first image signal from a first endoscope 2 connected to the processor 6 or an external processing signal from an external processor 7, a video signal output unit 68 for generating a video signal for display on the basis of the first image signal or the external processing signal for which image processing was executed by the image processing unit 67 and outputting to an external display device 5, and a mode switching unit 61 for switching a processing mode of the image processing unit 67 to any of a first processing mode and a second processing mode. The external processor 7 generates the external processing signal by executing image processing of a second image signal from a second endoscope 3 connected to the external processor 7. The image processing unit 67 executes first image processing of the first image signal in the first processing mode, and executes second image processing of the external processing signal in the second processing mode.
