Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a processor for an endoscope, the processor being configured to process a captured image of biological tissue. This processor for an endoscope comprises: a light source device that emits light for illumination of biological tissue; a spectrum sensor that acquires the optical spectrum of the light emitted by the light source device; and an adjustment unit that adjusts the optical spectrum of the light emitted by the light source device so as to reduce the difference between the optical spectrum acquired by the spectrum sensor and a predetermined target spectrum.
