Abstract:
The present invention relates to a producing method for clean coal by thermal extraction with solvent and an apparatus thereof. The object of the present invention is to provide a producing process for clean coal containing about 0.01 - 0.2 wt% of ash and an apparatus carrying out the method, wherein the method comprises the steps of: mixing low rank coal (sub-bituminous coal or lignite) with a solvent; reacting the mixture at a temperature of 300 ℃ or more to extract an organic component (or combustible component) contained in coal and dissolve the extracted organic component; separating the dissolved organic component from an undissolved particulate material; and drying the separated organic component. The technical idea of the present invention relates to a production method for clean coal by thermal extraction with a solvent to produce solid clean coal containing 0.01 - 0.2% of ash and a configuration of an apparatus for carrying out the same, wherein the method comprises the steps of: putting slurry comprising coal and a solvent in a certain ratio in an extraction reactor; reacting the mixture at a certain temperature for a certain time to dissolve an organic component contained in the coal in the solvent; separating the dissolved organic component from an undissolved particulate material; and drying the dissolved organic component.
