Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of multimedia terminals. Provides is a product characteristic prompting method during channel switching and a channel switching device. The method comprises the following steps: storing matching information about a user pre-set time and a film and TV channel; judging whether the current time is the pre-set time; if not, maintaining the current situation; if so, judging whether a host is in an on state at present; if not, powering on the host, switching to a film and TV channel matching with the user pre-set time, and pushing information about product characteristics; and if so, switching to the film and TV channel matching with the user pre-set time, and pushing the information about the product characteristics. By means of the method, product characteristics are enabled to be combined with relevant patent information corresponding to the characteristics, thus maximizing the value created by the present invention.
