Abstract:
The invention relates to a biodegradable product for environmental biotreatment, consisting of an oxygen-permeable packaging envelope which is formed from a biodegradable, especially extrudable, composition comprising at least one fibrous ground plant material, at least one non-fibrous plant agent as a binding agent for said material, and at least one plastifying agent, and from a formulated internal content comprising at least one amino acid acting as an osmotic membrane and as a food-producing medium, and an aqueous volume of a culture containing bacteria, fungi and/or aerobic yeast placed inside the packaging envelope. The invention also relates to the method for producing said product, and to the applications thereof in the biotreatment of the ground, polluted water, grease treatment, composting, and the treatment of ambient media in general.
