Abstract:
A product storing rack 11 comprises: a plurality of product storing columns 14 which store products in product storing paths 14a extending linearly, such that the products are lined up in the extending direction of the product storing paths 14a; and a dispensing mechanism 20 which is provided to each product storing column 14, and when driven, dispenses from the corresponding product storing path 14a the most downstream product disposed most downstream among the products stored in said product storing path 14a. The product storing columns 14 are arranged side by side. The product storing rack 11 further comprises: a driving force applying means for applying a shared driving force for operating each dispensing mechanism 20; and a driving force transmitting means for transmitting, when given a dispensing command for a product stored in a given product storing column 14, the driving force from the driving force applying means to only the corresponding dispensing mechanism 20.
