Abstract:
The invention relates to the production or machining of sand moulds as well as to a moulding machine. Said invention also relates to a method for sand removal, with reduced deformation, on the back of a large-surface flat sand mould (25) which is liable to strong deformation. According to said method, the back of the mould is removed or cut off before a removal from the pattern and the moulding box (10, 12, 26) and the sand mould is supported by a pattern plate (14, 22) placed under said sand mould.
