Abstract:
A production device (30) for producing a component that has an outer covering by providing an outer covering member (20) to cover an outer surface side (14) of a plate-like substrate (12) and fitting an enfolding part (24) that is formed at an end edge part (22) of the outer covering member (20) onto an end edge part (16) of the substrate (12) to integrate the outer covering member (20) and the substrate (12). The production device (30) comprises: a product mounting stand (32) on which the outer covering member (20) is mounted with the substrate (12) thereupon; and a fit pressing device (34) for pressing the enfolding part (24) that is formed at the end edge part (22) of the outer covering member (20) from being separated from the end edge part (16) of the substrate (12) in an open state to being fitted onto the end edge part (16) of the substrate (12).
