Abstract:
Provided is a production method for 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene that is characterized by 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropane being brought into contact with an active carbon catalyst in a gaseous phase. The production method uses 1,2-dichloro-1-halogeno-3,3,3-trifluoropropane that can be inexpensively obtained as a starting material, and makes it possible to produce a good yield of 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene on an industrial scale.
