Abstract:
Provided is a production method of 1,2-difluoroethylene which can produce 1,2-difluoroethylene with high selectivity. This production method of 1,2-difluoroethylene comprises a step for performing a dehydrochlorination reaction of 1-chloro-1,2-difluoroethane in the presence or absence of a catalyst. The dehydrochlorination reaction is a gas-phase reaction or a liquid-phase reaction. According to the production method of the present disclosure, 1,2-difluoroethylene can be produced with high selectivity.
