Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to allow a plurality of wire strands from a conductive member to be reliably integrated into a single body in a compact form. The production method for the conductive member having the wire strand joining section comprises: (a) the step of preparing the conductive member (for instance, a core wire) wherein the plurality of element wires are gathered in such a manner as to assume a wire shape; (b) the step of pressing the plurality of wire strands in at least a portion of the conductive member in the extending direction thereof to form a pressed section; and (c) the step of non-pressure welding the pressed section to form the wire strand joining section.
