Abstract:
In this production method for a cover that is attached to an outer ring of a hub unit, a first mold and a second mold for forming a cavity that is filled with a resin material are first prepared. Next, a nut is supported by a protrusion on the first mold. The first mold and the second mold are then fitted together such that at least part of a gate of the second mold overlaps further inward than the outer circumferential surface of the nut when viewed from the axial direction of the nut. The resin material is then injected into the cavity.
