Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a mesenchymal cell composition by simple, aseptic isolation of high-purity amnion-derived MSC using only a single enzyme treatment. The present invention provides a method for producing a mesenchymal cell composition including a step for enzymatic treatment of amnion by collagenase and thermolysin and/or dispase and a step for passing the enzymatically treated amnion through a mesh; a method for producing a cryopreserved mesenchymal cell composition; and an agent for the treatment of graft-versus-host disease, inflammatory bowel disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, cirrhosis, and radiation enteritis having this mesenchymal cell composition as an active ingredient.
