Abstract:
The present invention provides a production method and production device that are for a resin powder or inorganic powder and that are capable of performing a sieving process step in a space-saving manner and at a high processing rate, and easily removing metal components generated from a metal sieving mesh itself, while maintaining the classification ability of the metal sieving mesh. This production method for a resin powder or inorganic powder comprises: a sieving process step for sieving a resin powder to be treated or an inorganic powder to be treated using a metal sieving mesh having a Vickers hardness of at least 220 HV; and a magnetic separation process step for removing metal components from a resin powder or inorganic powder containing the metal components after the sieving step, using a magnetic separation machine. This production device for a resin powder or inorganic powder comprises: a metal sieving mesh having a Vickers hardness of at least 220 HV; and a magnetic separation machine.
