Abstract:
Provided are a method and a device whereby a bulky decoration piece of a thermoplastic synthetic resin can be produced. The method according to the present invention for producing a stereoscopic decoration piece made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin comprises: a step for preparing a decoration piece material 91 which comprises an upper layer 92 provided with a thermoplastic synthetic resin film and a lower layer 93 provided with a thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet; a step for disposing the decoration piece material in a flat-plate mold 20 serving as one electrode; and a softening step for bringing a flat-plate mold 21 serving as the other electrode closer to the aforesaid flat-plate mold serving as one electrode, thus pressing the decoration piece material and, at the same time, performing high-frequency dielectric heating to thereby soften and weld the decoration piece material.
