Disclosed is a production method for a dye disperse blue B56#, which belongs to the technical field of chemical dyes. 1-Aminoanthraquinone DMF residue is treated by using sodium sulfite to produce mixed nitrate, then the mixed nitrate is sequentially subjected to mononitration, mononitration refining, condensation, dinitration, hydrolysis, reduction, and a bromination transformation process, and finally a product disperse blue B56# is obtained; a by-product 2,4-dinitrophenol is recovered by reprocessing a hydrolysis recovery mother liquor. The disperse blue B56# filter cake of the present invention generates a 2,4-dinitrophenol sodium salt during a hydrolysis reaction process, and the 2,4-dinitrophenol sodium salt is dissolved in a hydrolysis recovery mother liquor. In order to effectively utilize active components therein and reduce the emissions of the three wastes, the by-product 2-4-dinitrophenol can be produced by means of acidification and filtration. Said by-product meets all test standards and can be used as a raw material for the production of coating intermediates.
