Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a production method for a fiber reinforced resin sheet material, comprising using a fiber sheet material and a resin sheet material, and melting the resin sheet material to impregnate or semi-impregnate therewith the fiber sheet material, allowing the fiber reinforced resin sheet material to be obtained stably and continuously. The method includes superposing the fiber sheet material (Ts) and the resin sheet material (Js), sandwiching and transporting these materials between transport belts (7), heat-pressing these materials between heating rolls (1), and then cool-pressing these materials between cooling rolls (2), thereby obtaining a fiber reinforced resin sheet material (Ps) comprising the fiber sheet material (Ts) impregnated or semi-impregnated by the resin sheet material (Js) that had been melted. The superposing is carried out by disposing the side extremity portions (8) and (9) of the fiber sheet material (Ts) respectively on the outer sides of the side extremity portions (10) and (11) of the resin sheet material (Js).
