Abstract:
The present invention provides an industrially excellent production method by which a halogenated pyrazolecarboxylic acid useful as an intermediate for medicines and agricultural chemicals can be more easily and efficiently produced. The present invention relates to a method for producing a compound represented by formula (b), the method comprising reacting a compound represented by formula (a) with oxygen in the presence of a compound containing a transition metal atom to thereby obtain the compound represented by formula (b). (The symbols in the formulae are as described in the description.)
