Abstract:
Halogenated α–fluoroethers indicated by a formula [in formula (2), HaloR indicates a haloalkyl group, R1 indicates a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, or a substituted alkyl group, and R2 indicates an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group] can be efficiently produced on an industrial scale as a result of reacting halogenated aldehydes indicated by a formula [in formula (1), HaloR indicates a haloalkyl group] or equivalents thereof, with hydrogen fluoride.
