Abstract:
The present invention provides a production method for an isoprenoid compound. The method includes generating an isoprenoid compound by culturing, in a culture medium, a microbe that expresses: a protein having the full-length amino-acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 13; a protein having the full-length amino-acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14; and a protein having a sequence similar to or homologous to the foregoing and having an isopentenyl diphosphate isomerase activity.
