Abstract:
Provided is a production method for a latex of a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer that involves a hydrogenation step in which a hydrogenation catalyst containing a platinum group metal is dissolved or dispersed in a latex of a conjugated diene polymer and unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds in the conjugated diene polymer are hydrogenated, and an insoluble complex formation step in which insoluble complexes are formed by using a complexing agent to complex the platinum group metal in the latex, wherein the pH of the latex in the insoluble complex formation step is in the range of 5.0 to 8.0.
