Abstract:
This production method for a medical instrument includes a step in which a base material (3') comprising a plurality of hollow fiber membranes (31) is produced by agglomerating said plurality of hollow fiber membranes (31) in order to form a shape that is cylindrical as a whole. In said step, each of the hollow fiber membranes (31) is made to sequentially pass a first point (101), a second point (102), a third point (103), a fourth point (104), and a fifth point (105) that are set on a core member (100). During this step, the hollow fiber membrane (31) is rolled along the peripheral direction of the core member (100) from the second point (102) to the third point (103) on the outgoing path so as to arrive at the third point (103) from the second point (102) using the shortest distance, and is rolled in the same direction as that of the outgoing path along the peripheral direction of the core member (100) from the fourth point (104) to the fifth point (105) on the return path so as to arrive at the fifth point (105) from the fourth point (104) using the shortest distance.
