Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a molded rubber hose which involves a two-stage vulcanization step, wherein an appropriate semi-vulcanized rubber hose can be easily obtained by means of primary vulcanization and it is possible to improve shape stability during secondary vulcanization. The molded rubber hose production method involves a step for obtaining a semi-vulcanized rubber hose by performing primary vulcanization of an unvulcanized rubber hose formed on the outer periphery of a mandrel and a step for obtaining a molded rubber hose by performing secondary vulcanization of the semi-vulcanized rubber hose while maintaining a desired shape, and is characterized in that the unvulcanized rubber hose has an unvulcanized rubber layer on the outermost perimeter thereof, primary vulcanization is performed by heating the outer periphery side of the unvulcanized rubber layer by irradiating with near-infrared radiation, and a semi-vulcanized rubber hose is obtained which has a higher vulcanization temperature near the surface on the outer periphery side of the rubber hose than the vulcanization temperature near the surface on the inner periphery side.
