Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a production method for an optical laminate that enables inhibition of generation of wrinkles and surface scratches of the optical laminate, and inhibition of curling of the optical laminate after being cut into a product size. [Solution] The present invention provides a method of producing an optical laminate S by bonding a laterally stretched elongate first optical film F1 and a laterally stretched elongate second optical film F2 to each other using a nip roller 10 while the films are being conveyed in a longitudinal direction. Guide rollers 20, 30 that guide the first and/or second optical films toward the nip roller are arranged upstream of the nip roller in a conveying direction of the first and/or second optical films. The attitude of the guide rollers is adjusted such that rotational axes 20L, 30L of the guide rollers shift from a state of being parallel to a rotational axis 10L of the nip roller, to a state of being inclined in a direction away from one of both end portions in the width direction of the first and/or second optical films on the side where a slack is caused.
