Abstract:
In this production method for a permanent magnet, a cavity (21) that is formed as a groove shape having a lengthwise direction that extends in the horizontal direction is filled with magnetic powders (52). The filling step for filling using the magnetic powders (52) comprises: a first filling step in which filling is performed using a first magnetic powder (52a) from among the magnetic powders (52) that does or does not comprise a heavy rare earth element; and a second filling step in which filling is performed to a predetermined position within the cavity (21) using a second magnetic powder (52b) having a higher blending ratio of a heavy rare earth element than the first magnetic powder (52a).
